Eulerian Method for Describing Fluid Motion

In Eulerian method, the velocity, acceleration, pressure, density etc., are described at a point in fluid flow. So it seeks the velocity V and its variation with time t at each and every location (s) in the flow field. Mathematically,

therefore                      u = u (x, y, z, t)                                               … (4.6(a))

v = v (x, y, z, t)                                               … (4.6(b))

w = w (x, y, z, t)

d x /d t = u (x , y, z , t)

d y/d t = v (x , y, z , t)

d z /d t = w (x , y, z , t)
